Has pressed metal ceilings throughout, large sweeping verandahs to sit out on and enjoy the views. The bar has upgrades from Expo ’88 if you remember the Ship Inn Bar from Expo '88.
The building has recently been slowly restored by Publican Joan Wallace with many pieces of antique furniture and lounge rooms with fireplaces, pool room with fire place, function room with fire place the pub has 32 bedrooms, can cater for up to 60 guests. There is a large function room which and private parties and functions, weddings. A private beer garden whereby motor cycles can be safely stored under cover. The verandah extends over the footpath, stop-chamfered timber posts which are tripled at the splayed corner with upper level mostly has a cast iron balustrade, with a cast iron fringe an bull-nosed roof with shaped rafters, and a ripple iron underside with internal gutters to its perimeter.
This is a great example of a big pub from the past it a shame beer is so expensive these days no one can afford to socialise in hotel/pubs anymore let alone go for a country drive to experience these country towns
